I wrote this poem, “YOU”, for my husband, Brian. He is the best and kindest person I know.
You.
You are the warm hug
wrapped around me
as I cry,
the heart beating
in sync
with my own,
the smile
shining with joy
as I find the words
to say:
I love you.
You.
